A LOT! The main reason, though, is that juice that is bottled has already combined with oxygen (a process known as oxidation), and all of the nutrients have been destroyed because of this! Juice made with a juicer, but it must be a high quality powerful juicer such as a masticating or triturating juicer, has a shelf life of sometimes more than day, and has hundreds of times more nutrients, enzymes, and phytochemicals than anything you'll find that the supermarket. That being said, beware of centrifugal juicers. These are the most common and inexpensive ones and cause oxidation very quickly, easily within seconds of juicing. If you're thinking of juicing their own juice, give some thought to the masticating juicer. It's a good start and a balance of price and return. I've been using one for the past 15 years. PS bottled juices also have artificial additives, that the juices made from concentrate, and the juice often has about as much bad sugar as a can of Coke!
