Is it possible to juice an apple if you don't have a juicer?

I’m making a butternut squash soup that calls for apple cider. I was planning to substitute apple juice for the apple cider. Then I realized I didn’t have any apple juice. I have a lot of apples, though…but no juicer. Any suggestions? I really don’t want to go to the store.
