Ideas for what to do with pulp from power juicer?

Posted on August 6th, 2010, by

I got a power juicer recently and absolutely love it. However, there is a lot pulp left over then I feel bad wasting. Does anyone here have any creative ideas on where I can use the pulp. I had the idea of putting the extra vegetable pulp in my meatsauce for spaghetti but I obviously need more than one idea for it.

Maybe you could use it for an oil substitute in your cakes… I often substitute applesauce or banana for the oil in cake mixes.. You may have to experiment with it and try a few recipes out…

    Good luck

Sprinkle it on the plants in your garden. It’s great organic food!

there aren’t many uses for it besides the one you mentioned. Compost is probably the next best usage.
