How to gelatinize fruit juice?
Posted on September 5th, 2010, by
I am looking a for a natural substance that will help me gelatinize fruit juice. I talking about juice that I squeeze in my own home but I want it to be a natural product because I don’t want to defeat the purpose of drinking juice.

*aspic is a dish made from stock (vegetable or meat) and gelatin. In other words it’s not gelatin but a recipe that uses gelatin.
Gelatin is natural..
Use Knox unflavored gelatin. You should be able to use your juices instead of water.

It’s a low-calorie, pure-protein food, it fits perfectly into modern lifestyles as an essential ingredient for light, healthful cooking.
For over 100 years, Knox Gelatine has been a staple of American kitchens. Knox is unflavored and low in fat, so it is perfect for dips, spreads, salads, and especially desserts. Best of all, recipes with Knox are generally quick and easy to prepare, as well as delicious.
You can find Knox Gelatine at your local grocery store or supermarket chain. For your convenience, Knox Gelatine comes in two sizes: a 1 oz. size containing 4 gelatine envelopes and a handy 8 oz. size containing 32 envelopes.

Try aspic. I’m not sure what is in it. You can buy it at the grocery store.

Gelitan is a natural product so just buy the plain or unflavored and use it. It won’t take very much. (I use unflavored gelitan to thicken my homemake veggie soups and stews.)
